Louis Cowell, CFA, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently a member of the CFO Practice at Burkland since March 2022, Louis provides interim CFO expertise for startups and scale-ups, covering services such as financial planning, fundraising support, and mergers and acquisitions advice. Prior to this, Louis served as Head of Finance/Controller at Drink LMNT, significantly contributing to its rapid growth, and held the position of Head of Finance at Proton Enterprises, a family office focused on health and wellness businesses. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief Operating Officer at Visualize Wealth and roles at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers in investment banking and high yield debt sales. Louis holds an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
