Michael Metzger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael started their career as a designer and photographer at The BG News, where they eventually became the Design Editor, Photo Editor, Sports Editor, and Graphic Designer. Michael also worked as a Screen Printer/Graphic Artist at Screen Printed Products, where they printed close to 40,000 garments manually. At Bowling Green State University, they served as an Athletic Communications Designer and later as a Graduate Assistant in Student Publications. Michael gained experience in prepress production as a Prepress Production Artist at CMC Group. Michael also worked at Shared Legacy Farms as an Assistant Grower/Harvester, and at Vision Quest as a Screen Printer. Before their current role as a Marketing Manager at Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies, they worked as a Senior Graphic & Digital Designer and as a Marketing Manager at Terra State Community College where they coordinated all marketing initiatives, managed the marketing budget, and implemented strategic marketing plans and campaigns. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated proficiency in various marketing channels and tools, such as social media, Google Ads, paid search, SEM, SEO, digital display and video ads, OTT, Pandora, Spotify, and others. Michael has also managed teams, tracked and analyzed data, and developed creative materials for promotional purposes.
Michael Metzger received their Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication Technology from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Michael further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Education degree in Career & Technology Education from 2007 to 2009.
