Colby Swartz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in real estate and investment strategy. Currently serving as Vice President of Capital Markets & Investment Strategy at Burkentine Real Estate Group since November 2020, Colby oversees a vertically integrated family office focused on real estate development. Additionally, Colby is an Adjunct Instructor at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, teaching classes on Real Estate Capital Market Analysis. Colby's background includes roles as Principal at Pennzona Property Group and Lafayette Street Capital, as well as a Vice President of Real Estate at Howard. Previous experience includes senior positions at Suzuki Capital LLC, Joseph Gunnar LLC, and Laidlaw & Co. Colby holds a Master’s degree in Global Real Estate Development from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University.
