Salwa Al Baker began their work experience in 2002 at Aramco Services Company as a Senior Planning & Budgeting Analyst- Special Projects. Salwa then joined Wataniya Airways in 2008 as an HR Manager, and later moved to Burgan Bank in 2010 as the Head of Recruitment & Onboarding.

Salwa Al Baker holds a Master's degree in Econometrics and a Master's degree in Human Resources and Development from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the University of Minnesota. Salwa has also obtained a certification in Harvard ManageMentor from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) in 2020.
