Philip Braverman has an extensive work experience in tax and HR management. Philip started their career as the Director of International Taxes and Senior Tax Counsel at Bestfoods. Philip then became the Vice President and General Tax Counsel at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they handled significant acquisitions and spin-off deals. After that, they worked as the Vice President of Global Tax at Moody's Corp, overseeing a global tax group. Philip later joined The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation as the Managing Director of Tax and Strategic Finance, managing various functions such as tax, insurance, and employee benefits. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director, Tax & HR and Global Head of Tax and Structuring at Burford Capital.

Philip Braverman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from SUNY Binghamton in 1977. Following this, they attended Fordham University School of Law from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained their J.D. degree.
