Peter Caiafa is an experienced information technology professional with a focus on human resources and operational systems. Currently serving as Executive Officer in the Corporate Division at the Bureau of Meteorology since March 2010, Peter manages and develops the Bureau's payroll and human resource system while overseeing a team to ensure technological advancements are integrated effectively. Previous experience includes a role as Executive Officer in the People Management Branch, providing strategic advice on Corporate IT and SAP developments, as well as project management for Bureau-wide HR and IT initiatives. Peter's career also includes a secondment as a Consultant for SAP ERP configuration at the Australian Crime Commission. Peter holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University.
