Justin Robinson has extensive experience in hydrology and flood management, currently serving as the Team Leader for National Flood Operations and National Flood Services Manager (NSW & ACT) at the Bureau of Meteorology since 2012. In this role, Justin acts as the primary contact for external stakeholders in flood warning services and water information activities and oversees the New South Wales Flood Warning Centre. Justin also leads the implementation of the next-generation Hydrological Forecasting System (HyFS), which enhances real-time hydrological forecasting capabilities. Prior to these positions, Justin held roles as Senior Hydrologist and Hydrologist, contributing to the development of flood warning services and managing hydrological data collection systems. Justin holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, and a Graduate Certificate in Management (Technology Management) from prestigious Australian universities.
