Andre Zerger is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental science and data management. Currently serving as the Director of the Atlas of Living Australia at CSIRO since February 2019, Andre previously managed Data Services at the Bureau of Meteorology, overseeing a team responsible for the development of data products for various stakeholders. Andre's earlier roles include Manager of Environmental Information Services at CSIRO, where research focused on geospatial technologies for natural resource management, and Research Scientist and Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, where expertise was applied in spatial data analysis and environmental modeling. Andre holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Resource Management from The Australian National University, a Master of Applied Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University.
