Jacqueline Michael-Midkiff currently serves as the New Media Division Chief at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jacqueline worked as a Senior Public Affairs Specialist at the USDA Economic Research Service from March 2020 to July 2023. Jacqueline’s extensive career at the Bureau of Labor Statistics began in 1991, where positions included Regional Economist and Chief of Information for the Mountain-Plains Region, Senior Economist, and Field Economist, focusing on the National Compensation Survey and Consumer Price Index programs. Additionally, Jacqueline co-owned Hardware Cafe from 2001 to 2006. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Business and Government Relations from Park University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from William Jewell College.
