Tina Highfill is a Senior Research Economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce, since January 2017, where Tina leads research and development of new U.S. economic projects. Previously, Tina served as a Macroeconomic Analysis Intern at the Congressional Budget Office in 2003, focusing on the accuracy of long-term macroeconomic forecasts. Tina holds a PhD in Health Services Organization and Research from Virginia Commonwealth University (2017), a Master's degree in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University (2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech (2003).
