Ed Albetski has extensive experience in information technology and economics, primarily within the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Economic Analysis. Albetski served as an IT Analyst and later as an IT Specialist, providing IT services from February 1984 until retirement in October 2010. Prior to this, Albetski worked as an Economist in the InterIndustry Division of the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Scientific Data Specialist at the U.S. Department of Defense, where responsibilities involved cartography for the Defense Mapping Agency. Albetski holds a degree from George Mason University, obtained between 1972 and 1976.
