Daniel Thang is a Research Data Scientist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, having started in August 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel gained experience as a Financial Analyst Intern with the National Institutes of Health in June 2021 and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in early 2020, focusing on a study related to pension forfeiture. Daniel also completed a summer research internship at The Johns Hopkins University in 2018, where analytical research skills were developed through intensive lectures and project work. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, earned in May 2023, and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from the same institution, completed in 2021.
