Gary Amstutz began their career in 1978 at SAIC as a Sector Controller. Gary then moved to the Illinois Institute of Technology Institute (IITRI) in 2000 as CFO, where they restructured, realigned and implemented the necessary processes and procedures to accommodate the change to a for-profit business model. In 2002, they joined Alion Science and Technology as Senior VP - Finance and then Senior Vice President - Financial Operations. During this time, they completed and successfully integrated eleven acquisitions that totaled over $600 million in annual revenue. In 2011, they became CFO & VP of Administration for Burdeshaw Associates, a privately held professional consulting firm focused on providing strategic guidance and advice to to both government and business in the US and global defense industry. As CFO, they were responsible for all areas of administration including finance and accounting, financial reporting and analysis, government contracts and procurement, government compliance and HR.
Gary Amstutz received their MBA from the University of California, Riverside - A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management in 1976, with a focus in Market Research and Finance. Prior to that, they earned their BS in Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 1975.
