Laura Waldrop has extensive experience in athletic operations and management. Currently serving as Manager of Service Operations at Burch Corporation since December 2020, Laura previously worked in the UAB Athletic Department from February 2015 to December 2020 as Assistant Facilities and Operations. In this role, Laura was responsible for facilitating event management and coordinating facility use. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Director of Women's Basketball Operations at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from June 2006 to February 2015, overseeing the administrative functions of the women's basketball program and participating in budget planning. Laura began their career in sports as a Student Assistant with UAB Women's Basketball from June 2001 to 2006, following a period as a Student Athlete in the same program. Laura earned a BA in Elementary Education from UAB in 2006.
