Ellice Birnie is a seasoned professional in technology risk management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently, Ellice serves as the Head of Technology Risk Management at Bupa since November 2020 and holds dual roles as Vice President and Marketing Director for the ISACA London Chapter since July 2021. Prior positions include Technology Risk Consultancy at Protiviti, Compliance at Grant Thornton LLP, and various roles at RBS, where Ellice was the Global Head of IT Controls and Senior Vice President for Regulatory Change and Controls Assurance. Previous experience at Barclays involved leading global strategy for Technology Controls Self-Assessment and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Educational credentials include a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from Abertay University and an Executive MBA in Management from Henley Business School.
