David Mecham is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Global Head of Cyber Security Threat Informed Defence at Bupa Global since April 2021, where leadership entails overseeing the Threat Informed posture and collaborating with various security teams. Prior to this role, David worked as the Group Information Security Architect at Spectris plc from June 2017 to April 2021, contributing to security architecture for a leading instrumentation supplier. Earlier experience includes positions such as Global IT Infrastructure Manager at NDC Technologies, Systems Installation Engineer at FOS Ltd, Network Administrator at NDC Infrared Engineering, and Senior Network Administrator at Beale & Dobie Ltd. David's extensive background in IT and cybersecurity began after completing education at Royal Liberty School.
