Shaydi DeJesus is a prominent figure in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, currently serving on the Founding Board and Steering Committee of Texas Venture Alliance since January 2023. As the Austin Lead for SoGal Foundation since January 2019, Shaydi contributes to the largest global platform supporting women and diverse entrepreneurs, while also leading Bunker Labs in Austin, a national network assisting veteran entrepreneurs. In addition to a role as a Venture Partner at Republic, Shaydi is an investor at Backstage Capital and the Founder and Partner at Military Connected Capital. Previous experience includes positions at Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs and ACC Bioscience Incubator. Shaydi holds advanced degrees in Venture Capital from Stanford University and Business and Technology Commercialization from Texas McCombs School of Business, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
