Juan Ciapessoni has extensive experience in the fields of innovation, creativity, and technology. Juan began their career in 1999 as Co-Founder and Head of Innovation at The Electric Factory Group, a prestigious company in Latin America. In 2007, they Co-Founded and served as Chief Creative Officer at Encident, a company that offers ad agencies the ability to outsource digital production needs. In 2014, they Co-Founded and became Partner at Bunker DB, a company designed to analyze the performance of digital campaigns in real-time. In 2015, they Co-Founded NIKO, a home producer of VR, AR, audiovisual, 3D, and FX. In 2017, they Co-Founded The Electric Academy, a company that creates methodologies and contents to facilitate the learning of STEAM skills. In 2020, they were appointed Board Member and VP of Innovation at Cuti - Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies, and they also became a Judge at The FWA. In 2021, they were named Director of Development for the degree in Marketing at Universidad de Montevideo and Academic Advisor of the Faculty of Communication.
Juan Ciapessoni studied Architecture at the Universidad de la República. Juan is currently enrolled in the Leadership & Innovation program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
