Cigdem Saka Jackson has a strong background in software development and project management, with experience as a Scrum Master, Team Lead, and Application Development Manager. Cigdem started their career at Ziraat Teknoloji in 2003, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master until 2012. Cigdem then joined Microsoft as an Application Development Manager from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked at Aselsan as a Team Lead and Scrum Master from 2014 to 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Siemens as a Scrum Master before joining Bumper in 2022 in the same role.

Cigdem attended the University of Leeds from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management (Honours). Prior to that, they attended Bilkent University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering.

Before entering university, from 1995 to 1997, Cigdem Saka Jackson attended St Christopher's School in Bahrain, where they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) program. Cigdem'sfield of study during this period was focused on Computer and Maths HL.
