Christy Shannon is an experienced mathematics educator with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher at Bullis School since January 2020, Christy has previously held positions at James Rickards High School and Barrie School, where teaching responsibilities included Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and AVID courses. Christy began the teaching career at JEB Stuart and has cultivated a strong foundation in math and science education. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech, earned between 1986 and 1990.
