John D. LaVerne has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. John D. began their career at Bulldog Tours, Inc. in 2001, where they held the position of Head Tour Guide. In 2009, they joined the American College of the Building Arts as Vice-Chairman of the Board. In 2018, they took on the role of Chairman of the Board of Governors at Explore Charleston and became a Founding Member at EO Charleston. Overall, John D. LaVerne has a strong background in leadership and board positions in the tourism and education sectors.
