Milen Ivanov is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Serving as Managing Partner at Sofia Angels Ventures since November 2020, Milen actively co-invests in scalable startups alongside various private investors. As Co-Founder and Chairman of the Bulgarian Angels Club, the largest business-angel investor network in Bulgaria, Milen facilitates investment decisions among 85+ members. Additionally, Milen contributes as a Jury Member for the European Commission's EIC Accelerator, evaluating projects for funding under EU initiatives, and mentors top deep tech scale-ups within the EIC Scaling Club. Milen also holds board positions and investments in various startups, including retorio and Addit.tech, and is a member of the Board of Advisors at BESCO. With a solid educational background, including an MBA from City University of Seattle, Milen has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Bulgarian recruitment sector through the founding of Horizons Bulgaria.
