Shamoun Murtza has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Shamoun began their career in 1996 as a Database Architect at Time Inc. In 1998, they moved to Bigstar Entertainment as Chief Data Architect. In 1999, they became VP of Development and Architecture at register.com. In 2003, they co-founded GridApp Systems and served as CTO. In 2010, they joined BMC Software as CTO - Financial Services and Director Product. In 2015, they became CTO at Conductor, Inc. where they delivered a highly available, global, SaaS solution for marketers. In 2018, they founded Buj and also served as an Advisor at Conductor, Inc./ WeWork. Most recently in 2020, they became Chief Technology Officer at GeoPhy and is currently CTO at Walker & Dunlop.
Shamoun Murtza attended Aitchison College from 1989 to 1990, where they completed an Intermediate in Pre-Engineering. Shamoun then attended Rutgers University - Newark from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BA in Computer Science.
