Capt Manish Luthra (Retd) has extensive experience in the defence aerospace sector, currently serving as a Defence Aerospace consultant at Buisness Development & Consulting since January 2020. Prior to this role, Manish held the position of DGM (Marketing & BD) at Defsys Solutions Pvt. Ltd. from September 2018 to January 2020. Manish's career in the Indian Navy spanned various significant roles, including Director Aviation at Naval Base, overseeing air operations and the basing of aircraft carriers, and Director Aircraft Acquisition at Naval Headquarters, focusing on the induction of Mig-29K and Hawk AJT, along with contract negotiations and project management. Other key positions included responsibilities at the Directorate of Naval Air Staff, where Manish was involved in acquisition planning and budget management, and as a Program Monitor for the Aircraft Carrier Project, managing project progress and technical specifications. Manish is a qualified flying instructor from the Flying Instructors' School IAF and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Delhi University.
