Matt Rigg is a Lead Engineer at the Building Decarbonization Coalition, focusing on technology-driven transformations for building decarbonization since February 2024. Prior to this role, Rigg served as a Senior Software Engineer at a TIME-incubated startup from May 2022 to November 2023, where efforts centered around creating a marketplace for carbon offset projects. Experience also includes serving as a Lead Front End Engineer at Noom Inc. from August 2021 to May 2022, driving security initiatives and codebase enhancements, and various engineering roles at Amazon from June 2014 to August 2021, including contributions to Amazon Care and Alexa Blueprints. Rigg began a career in IT systems administration at Competition Specialties from May 2011 to June 2014. Rigg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology-Systems from the University of Washington and completed further education at Terra.do in early 2024.
