Bruce Carlson has worked in the software engineering field since 1989. Bruce began their career at Comerica Bank as a Software Engineer and then moved to MAGI Erp Group/Manufacturing Action Group, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer from 1994-1996. During this time, they were the lead architect and team leader for the Virtual Office functional area of www.quixtar.com. Bruce then became an Adjunct Professor at Grand Rapids Community College from 1998-2000. In 2000, Bruce was a Cofounder of ROI Technology, where they managed a team of seven development resources and lead the development effort on several custom development projects. From 2003-2016 they worked at Bytamin, LLC as President/Founder, providing leadership and software development solutions and specializing in web and mobile app development. Bruce then worked at Amway as a Senior Software Developer from 2016-2022. Most recently, Bruce worked at Building CATALYST as Co-Founder and is currently working at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Software Engineer.
Bruce Carlson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science and Business from Spring Arbor University. Bruce also holds a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
