Justin Golownia is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in the SaaS industry, currently serving as Lead Product Designer at Buildertrend since February 2021. In this role, Justin is responsible for designing a new flagship product aimed at enhancing material purchasing for 23,000 small and medium-sized businesses in residential construction. Prior to Buildertrend, Justin was a Senior Product Designer at CoConstruct, where focus was on improving user experience in a competitive platform until its acquisition by Buildertrend. Justin’s earlier experience includes roles at Field Nation, where implementation of a data-informed design methodology improved platform features, and as a User Experience Designer at SportsEngine. Justin began their career as a Social Studies Educator, developing strong communication and relationship-building skills that contribute to professional success. Justin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a certificate in Design Thinking from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
