Declan Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Declan started their career as a Backstock Coordinator at American Apparel in 2013 before moving on to work as an Executive Suite Receptionist at LTC and Guggenheim Partners. In 2014, they were a Help Desk Specialist at Margolin Inc. and also performed at The iO Theater. In 2016, they worked as a Concierge, Bellman, and Social Media coordinator at Ace Hotel/Atelier Ace, where they used their performance skills to assist hotel guests and provided key insights for social media management. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Legal Assistant and Secretary at Wheeler Financial Inc., performing various legal duties and organizing records. Declan further enhanced their skills as a Web Developer at Actualize Coding Bootcamp from 2020 to 2021, where they built websites for notable musicians. Currently, they are employed at Bugcrowd, initially working as an Escalation Engineer and then later promoted to Senior Escalations Engineer. Declan has gained experience in addressing cybersecurity concerns, building relationships with clients and researchers, and implementing plans to address common issues within the cybersecurity community.

Declan Murphy completed their education at various institutions. In 2020, they attended Actualize Coding Bootcamp, where they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certificate. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Hampshire College, specializing in Applied Analytics in Interactive New Media (Computer Science). Declan completed their high school education at Mt Desert Island High School, earning a High School Diploma from 2004 to 2008.
