Adam Lumsden, CISM, CASP, CEH has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Adam started their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Supply Administration and Operations Sergeant from July 2012 to September 2016. After that, they worked as a Supply Chain Specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems from November 2018 to September 2019.

In 2019, Adam joined KMS Solutions, LLC as an Information System Security Engineer and served in that role until September 2021. During this time, they gained experience in securing information systems.

From September 2021 to January 2022, Adam worked as an Information Security Analyst at Apex Systems. Adam then joined HackerOne as an Offensive Security Researcher and Bugcrowd as a Web Application Penetration Tester in June 2021. These roles allowed him to enhance their skills in ethical hacking and vulnerability testing.

In April 2022, Adam joined The IRONMAN Group as a Senior Security Operations Analyst. Adam was responsible for triaging and analyzing security incidents, investigating phishing emails, and assisting in recovery efforts. Adam also served as a Cloud Security Administrator responsible for vulnerability management and application security. As part of this role, Adam installed, administered, and troubleshooted network security solutions and performed vulnerability scans.

Currently, Adam is working at Microsoft as a Cloud Security Engineer, starting from October 2022. In this role, they assist in reviewing vulnerabilities' data from multiple sources and works towards securing the cloud environment.

Throughout their career, Adam has obtained certifications such as CISM, CASP, and CEH, showcasing their expertise in information security.

Adam Lumsden, CISM, CASP, CEH, has a strong educational background in cybersecurity and information assurance. Adam obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, graduating in 2024. Prior to that, Adam completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies at UMass Boston, finishing in 2021.

In addition to their academic credentials, Adam has acquired various certifications in the field.
