Hugo Claessens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, innovation, and business development across multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Research Design & Delivery at BUFFL since August 2020, Hugo oversees commercial relationships and leads a growing team focused on strategic consulting and market validation processes. Prior to this role, Hugo held significant positions at Eneco Belgium as an Innovation Project Manager, and at HighTechXL, where responsibilities included managing corporate innovation programs for Philips. Hugo's background also includes key roles in program management and investor relations at the International Venture Club and TechTour, as well as early career experience in advisory and logistics functions. Hugo Claessens holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
