Michael "Scott" Mahoney has over 30 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Michael "Scott" began their career in 1990 as a Systems Engineer at Electrospace. In 1997, they joined Overwatch Systems as a Project Engineer, then moved on to become a Systems Engineer, and eventually a Software Quality Assurance Tester contracted out to the Lockheed Martin ground based satellite control station. In 2013, they became a Project Manager for the Buffalo Cloud Software Team at Buffalo Americas.

Michael "Scott" Mahoney received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University between 1985 and 1990.
