Kawsar Hossain is a Research Consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS), specializing in climate and disaster management since August 2024. Prior to this role, Kawsar served as President of the BUET Career Club (May 2019 - May 2022) and occupied multiple positions at BUET Brainiacs, including Vice President and Logistics Secretary, where notable events such as the Potterbrawl and Worldcup Quiz were organized. Additionally, Kawsar was a Junior Executive at the Bangladesh Alliance of Human Resources Networks from September 2020 to January 2022 and completed an internship at the Bangladesh Water Development Board in late 2021. Kawsar graduated with an undergraduate degree in Water Resources Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in May 2022.
