Heather Frankham has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Heather currently holds the position of Non-Executive Director at Paragon Skills, where they supported the company through a successful sales process and now focuses on quality governance. Additionally, they are the Non-Executive Chair of Paragon Skills, where they support the executive team in strategy creation and achieving business growth.
Apart from Paragon Skills, Heather is the Founder of Bud Systems, a training and development company specializing in apprenticeship management. Heather also founded Origin Workspace, a community-focused organization that supports young entrepreneurs and mental health initiatives.
In terms of investments, Heather is an Angel/Venture Investor and Member at Bristol Private Equity Club, investing in companies with the potential for positive change. Heather is also the Founder of the Frankham Family Charitable Trust, providing seed funding to charities benefiting children and young people in Bristol.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Heather worked as a Physical Education Teacher in various primary and secondary schools in Bristol.
Heather Frankham began their education at The Grange School in Warmley, Bristol, where they attended from 1979 to 1986. Heather went on to study at the University of Exeter in 1986-1987, focusing on Sport and Physical Education. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Mathematics at the University of the West of England, which they completed from 1987 to 1991. Heather then furthered their education by earning an MSc in Sport, Exercise, and Health Science from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
