Marcus Heggestad is an experienced elementary school teacher currently working at Issaquah School District since August 2023, with a parallel role at Buckeye Elementary School District that began in August 2016. Previous educational roles include serving as a student teacher at Dunbar Primary School in late 2016 and participating in field student experiences at Dunbar Primary and Ravenna Child Development Center in early 2016 and late 2015, respectively. Additionally, Marcus Heggestad was the lead teacher at Sonnets Academy from January 2014 to June 2015. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies, both from Kent State University, as well as an Associate of Arts from Lakeland Community College.
