Blake Thornton is the founder and president of Blake Thornton Machinery. He is a native of Pawleys Island, S.C., and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication and a minor in business administration. Blake began his career in heavy equipment sales when he oversaw the Asian, European and U.S. territories for an international construction equipment dealer. Blake founded BTM in 2001. Under his leadership, BTM has become one of the most innovative heavy construction equipment companies in the industry and doubled its sales year-over-year.
