Kevin Melloy has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Engineer at BTI360. Kevin began this position in August 2021. Previously, they worked as a Software Developer at Liminal Entertainment Technologies from January to May 2021.

In 2020, Kevin had an internship as a Software Engineer at BTI360 from June to August.

Prior to that, Kevin worked at L3Harris Technologies as a Software Developer and Astrophysics Intern from May 2019 to May 2020. Kevin contributed to various astronomy-related projects and performed backend development using Python, Java, and C++ in an agile, scrum-based environment.

In 2018, they served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia for CS 2110 Software Development Methods and CS 3102 Theory of Computation. Kevin assisted in proctoring lab sessions, answering questions during lectures, creating exam questions, grading assignments, and holding office hours.

Before their foray into the software industry, Kevin worked as a Barista at Starbucks from September 2016 to June 2017 and as a Food Service Attendant at Kingsmill Resort from February 2014 to February 2016.

Kevin Melloy obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. In August 2022, they also obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
