Urmila Baskaran is a Regional Sales Business Manager for APJC & MEA at BT, where responsibilities include global pre-sales activities for a major account and supporting customer digitalization initiatives. Previous roles at BT include positions in pre-sales and bid management within the AMEA region and a technical design role as part of the BT Graduate Program. Additionally, Urmila is a member of Uncommon, a network for female leaders, and has prior experience as a design engineer at Samsung Electronics during a final year project focused on smart fridge innovations. Other internships included design engineering roles at Thales and a startup specializing in water treatment. Urmila also led a winning team in a UBS case competition, analyzing a web-based trading platform migration. Early career experience includes event management for the Shangri-La Group.
