Alex Forbes is an experienced professional with a robust background in technology and telecommunications. Currently serving as Product Team Lead at the UK Home Office since July 2020, Alex has held key positions including Senior Propositions Manager for IoT & M2M Connectivity at BT from June 2017, and Head of M2M Propositions at EE until June 2017. Prior roles include Head of International M2M at Orange and a consultancy position at Microgen. Alex's career began as an Officer in the Submarine Service of the Royal Navy from 1992 to 1998. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Information Technology from the University of the West of England and a BSc in Geological Science from Aston University.
