Barbara Piercecchi has over 25 years of experience in the education industry, currently serving as Principal of the Education Practice at BSG Team Ventures since 2010, where expertise lies in recruiting and cultivating executive-level talent. Prior to this role, Barbara was Vice President and Director of Product Development at Sciencemedia.com from 1995 to 2002, contributing to the development of interactive science education products, and held key positions at Addison-Wesley/Benjamin-Cummings and DC Heath, overseeing publishing programs and strategic relationships. Barbara started the career as a Sales Representative and Business Management Editor at Prentice Hall, and was a Cultural Affairs Producer at Georgia Public Television Network, where notable work earned a National Academy of Television Arts and Science Emmy award. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English Language and Literature from Eastern Michigan University.
