Michael Arayata has over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Michael began their career as a Cost Accountant at Pacific Electricord Co. in 1995. From 2001 to 2011, they served as the Controller at JWC Environmental, where they led a team of four accounting professionals and was responsible for producing financial statements and participating in strategic planning. Since 2012, they have been with Bryant Rubber Corporation, initially as the Financial Controller and currently as the V.P. of Finance. In these roles, they have been responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support the company's multi-site operations. Their duties include producing timely and accurate financial statements, creating budgets, producing cash flow projections, managing inventory, and acting as the focal point for communication with external auditors. Michael has also participated in senior management meetings and played a key role in financial due diligence during the selling negotiations of JWC Environmental.
Michael Arayata attended the University of Santo Tomas from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Additionally, they studied Accounting with a focus on US accounting (GAAP) at IBC under the University of Hawaii. Michael also had some education experience at UOH, but no specific degree or field of study was provided.
