Ellen Van Helleputte has extensive experience in the aviation security sector, currently serving as Security Policy Manager, Aviation Security Expert, and Security Compliance Officer at Brussels Airport Company since December 2018. Prior to this role, Ellen worked as a Sales Support Officer at Securitas Belgium from May 2017 to December 2018 and as an Aviation Security Agent for G4S at Brussels Airport in early 2017 under an IBO-contract. Ellen holds a Master of Science in Communication with a focus on media, strategic communication, and marketing, as well as a Master of Science in Criminology centered on police, security, and crime in urban settings, both from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Ellen also earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the same institution.
