Rene Theriault has over 30 years of experience in various roles related to Information Technology and Digital Transformation. Rene is currently working as the Director of Program Delivery at BRP since 2022. Previously, from 2021 to 2022, they worked at ALDO Group as the Director of IT Solution, where they implemented an Agile delivery model and was responsible for strategy, development, and the health of owned applications.

From 2016 to 2021, Rene held the position of Corporate Director of Information Technology and Digital Transformation at Soucy, where they focused on increasing synergy across the enterprise's IT activities and executing major initiatives such as deploying a new cloud-based ERP solution and enhancing cyber-security measures.

Prior to that, they spent nine years at BRP as the Management Information System Manager, managing resources and overseeing the IS/IT Project Portfolio. Before BRP, Rene also worked as a Management Information System Manager at Camoplast Solideal and Bombardier Produits Recreatif, where they delivered strategic IS/IT projects and managed resources.

Rene's career began as a Network Administrator at Mitel in 1995, and they later held positions at GEC ALSTHOM NEYRPIC MINIHYDRO INC and SAQ as an Information Technology Specialist and Analyst/Developer, respectively.

Rene Theriault obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree from Université de Sherbrooke in Management Information Systems, General from 1989 to 1992. In addition, they also completed a Bachelor's degree in GIS from the same institution during the same time period. Prior to their university education, Rene completed a DEC Science Administrative degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Cegep de Granby from 1987 to 1989. They also had general studies during their high school years at Joseph Hermas Leclerc - Granby from 1982 to 1986. In terms of additional certifications, Rene obtained an Agile Requirements Foundations certification from LinkedIn in an undisclosed year.
