Stefan Heugenhauser is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Global Supplier Quality Engineer at BRP-Rotax GmbH & Co KG since March 2021. Prior to this role, Stefan worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at McMaster University from April 2019 to March 2021 and gained valuable experience as a Research Associate and Casting Engineer at Österreichisches Gießerei-Institut from March 2013 to March 2019. Earlier career roles include serving as a Process Development Engineer at Nemak, as well as various summer internships at AMAG, voestalpine, Salzburger Aluminium AG, and BMW Group, focusing on technical support, materials control, and logistics. Educationally, Stefan holds a PhD in Metallurgy - Casting from Montanuniversität Leoben, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Business Administration from McMaster University Continuing Education.
