Tsanka Dobreva first worked as a Software Engineer at Browswave JSC starting from December 2012. Tsanka then became a Teaching Assistant at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in February 2015 but ended this role in June of the same year. Prior to that, Tsanka worked as a Software Developer at Tutuf from March 2011 to June 2015. Tsanka also had a previous role as a Teaching Assistant at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" from February 2014 to June 2014. Tsanka began their career as an Intern - Software Engineer at Musala Soft from July 2010 to October 2010.

Tsanka Dobreva earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 2008 to 2012. Tsanka then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Visual Computing at Universität des Saarlandes from 2011 to 2012. Following that, Tsanka completed their Master's degree in Computer Graphics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge University, a Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe 2, and completed a Machine Learning course from Coursera. In high school, Tsanka studied German as part of the language profile at the High school for foreign languages "Assen Zlatarov" in Veliko Tarnovo from 2003 to 2008.
