Miguel Valdovinos is a dedicated undergraduate at Brown University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International and Public Affairs. As the Chief Copy Editor for the Brown Political Review, Miguel manages the hiring and training of copy editors while overseeing content accuracy and style improvements. In addition to this role, Miguel is actively involved in the International and Public Affairs Departmental Undergraduate Group, focusing on career development programming for over 200 students. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Democratic Erosion Consortium, Miguel contributes to the enhancement of the Democratic Erosion Event Dataset and collaborates on policy briefs. Further engagement includes serving as a Campus Ambassador for the Schuler Scholar Program, mentoring high school students with the Young Entrepreneurs of Providence, and writing course reviews for The Critical Review.
