Robert Kiernan has extensive experience in public relations within the sports industry, currently serving on the Public Relations Staff for the NBA Brooklyn Nets since October 2003. Responsibilities include distributing essential information such as statistics and injury reports to coaching staff and the media, and supporting visiting team public relations efforts. Kiernan has also held roles with the National Basketball Association as a Draft Player Escort during the 2011-2015 NBA Drafts, providing coordination for player interviews with ESPN. Additional experience includes assisting the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority for a major basketball game and working as a Production Assistant for the 2005 NY International Auto Show. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting from Montclair State University and an Associate of Arts in Speech/Theater from Brookdale Community College.
