Austin Dewees is an experienced professional in digital commerce and design innovation, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Commerce at the Brooklyn Museum since October 2020. Previously, Austin held the position of Graduate Student Researcher at the Royal College of Art from August 2016 to June 2018, where work involved creating design concepts focused on future mobility and innovation while blending design and engineering. Austin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement in the Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education (PACE) project addressed future urban mobility challenges. Additionally, a contracted role as a Design Engineer at Heery International, Inc. occurred in the summer of 2015. Austin holds a Master’s Degree in Vehicle Design from the Royal College of Art.
