Erin Mote has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations. Erin is currently the Executive Director at InnovateEDU, a role they have held since December 2013. In addition, they are a Member of both the Forbes Nonprofit Council and Chief, starting in 2021. Erin is also the Founder of Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School, where they played a significant role in creating and growing the organization. Furthermore, they served as the President and Co-Founder of Design Innovation Factory from December 2012 to December 2018. Prior to these roles, Erin worked as a Next Generation Learning Expert/Consultant at Mozilla from August 2014 to January 2016. Erin also has experience as a Principal at The Verban Group, where they founded and grew an international development and emerging market strategy consulting practice. Additionally, Erin served as the Chief of Party for the USAID GBI Alliance and worked in Resource Development roles at CHF International and The Coulter Companies.
Erin Mote earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan between 1999 and 2002. Following that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Arizona State University.
