Emma-June Orth is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the BASE Field Studies Coordinator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since September 2019. Prior experience includes coordinating the Urban Naturalists Program with the Wildlife Conservation Society, where responsibilities involved student recruitment and curriculum development for urban ecology research, and serving as a Natural Areas Intern with the Randall's Island Park Alliance, focusing on data collection and educational programming around aquatic and terrestrial wildlife. Additional roles include Program Assistant at The Bronx is Blooming, where Emma-June led restoration projects and community engagement, and Research Assistant at the Louis Calder Center, working on bat population health research. Emma-June Orth holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Fordham University, awarded in 2019.
