Robert Harrison has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific computing. Robert has held the role of Professor at Stony Brook University since October 2012. Additionally, they have served as the Director of the Center for Scientific Computing at Brookhaven National Laboratory since October 2012. Prior to these positions, Robert was a Corporate Fellow and Director of the Joint Institute for Computational Science at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2002 to 2012. Robert also worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in various roles from 1992 to 2002.
Robert Harrison pursued their education from 1978 to 1984 at the University of Cambridge, where they attained a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry.
